Pitching Distance Control in Golf

Getting the ball close to the hole when you are hitting shots from around the green is a skill that almost every amateur golfer could stand to improve on. When you are hitting a pitch shot from less than 50 yards from the hole, the task of getting the shot on-line is pretty easy. The challenge, then, is to hit the shot the right distance so it can stop close to the hole for an easy putt.
